Abstract

I designed three digital textile prints in Adobe Illustrator with different colors, scales, and textures and then printed them onto fabric using a digital textile fabric printer. Next, I designed a collection of wearable 3D prints using TinkerCAD software. Lastly, I designed a croqui collection showcasing my work.

Print 1

I layered four high-quality images, considering color correction, sharpness, and exposure. For intricate details, I used techniques like color separation to create my photorealistic fabric print.

Print 2

This print is special to me because I collected pictures I took of flowers from different national parks. I utilized the warp, transform, and reset tools to create my non-repeat textile print.

Print 3

Using my sketches of the divine feminine, I used a pattern swatch to edit my repeat print.

3D-Print #1

I designed a chain for my necklace pendant in TinkerCAD that involved cutting and combining shapes. After printing my design, I had to carefully remove supports under areas of the chain so it could be loose.

3D-Print #2

I drew inspiration from my repeat design fabric print to create my sun and mushroom necklace pendant. I designed them in Adobe Illustrator and then inserted them into TinkerCAD. From there, I used a circular shape to cut a hole in the center of my sun and then added a dangle mushroom charm. I used my original chain design to link the charm.

Croqui Illustrations

I utilized Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator tools to create my Croqui collection. I inserted each of my fabric patterns to display on clothing. Additionally, each of my jewelry designs is placed on the body of each Croqui.
