EMMA DEWITT

I’m a designer and innovator with a Bachelor of Science in Retail Entrepreneurship, currently based in Boston, MA. As a graduate student, my work blends strategic thinking with visual storytelling, balancing structure, creativity, and user experience to develop unique designs. I see design as a dynamic process—an ongoing conversation between ideas, technology, and the people interacting with them.

  • I am a candidate for Master of Design Innovation at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and taking Sports Technology: Engineering & Innovation at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My continuing passion for how design can improve athletic experiences, began as an elite gymnast. My focuses include product/service design intersecting with UX/UI technology.

  • My hands-on experiences as a design assistant and a member of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) have shaped my perspective on making meaningful changes in the design industry.

  • I am a graduate assistant for the MassArt Community Health and Well-being. I lead undergraduate students in the PULSE (Peers United for Life Skills Education) program by advocating for healthy initiatives ranging from physical education to mindful practices.

  • In my free time, I enjoy exploring U.S. National Parks. My travels have inspired my various textile prints and ideas behind architectural models. I am fascinated by nature’s complex systems and its foundation within design principles.
