EMMA DEWITT

Welcome to my page!
I’m a creative innovator driven by curiosity with works that blend strategy, storytelling, and user experience to develop engaging designs. After graduating, I relocated to Boston to dive deeper into human-centered research and elevate my approach to product design.

  • I am a Master of Design Innovation student at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Also enrolled in an MIT elective: Sports Technology Engineering & Innovation at MIT. My concentration includes product/service design intersecting with UX/UI technology. Growing up as an athlete, I developed a passion for how design can improve athletic experiences.

  • My experiences as a design assistant and a member of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) have shaped my perspective on making meaningful changes in the design industry.

  • In my current position, I assist the MassArt Community Health and Well-being. Specifically, I lead our undergraduate students in the PULSE (Peers United for Life Skills Education) program by advocating for healthy initiatives ranging from physical education to mindful practices.

  • In my free time, I enjoy exploring U.S. National Parks. My travels have inspired my various textile prints and ideas behind architectural models. I am fascinated by nature’s complex systems and its foundation within design principles.
